Simple vegan tofu scramble

5-MINUTE TOFU SCRAMBLE

Quick and flavorful tofu scramble. Ready in 5 minutes, protein-packed, and perfect for an easy vegan breakfast or brunch.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 white tofu about 200 g
  • 1 teaspoon nutritional yeast*
  • 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon turmeric
  • a little black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon Kala Namak*

Instructions
 

  • Just heat a bit of oil in a hot pan and crumble the tofu.
  • Add 1 teaspoon of nutritional yeast, 1/2 teaspoon of turmeric, 1/2 teaspoon of smoked paprika, and a few grinds of black pepper. Deglaze with 2 tablespoons of water, then stir well. Lower temperature and let sit for about two minutes.
  • Now add 1/4 teaspoon of kala namak (black salt), stir again, and serve immediately. Add a little extra salt if needed.
